Check the limit where you will upload.
Use the limit currently shown by Discord for your account and destination. Account benefits and upload restrictions can change; do not assume everyone has the same limit.
Choose a target below that limit.
On Windows, add the video, choose MP4 and enter target MB. On Mac, select the video in Finder and choose Compress Video → Custom Size, or a suitable preset. Leave some room below the stated upload limit.
Preview, then attach the MP4.
Play the compressed file saved beside your source. Check that text, sound and motion are acceptable, then attach it in Discord yourself. ConvertRight does not connect to or post to Discord.

Give each clip the room it needs.
Long gameplay recordings have less data available per second at a small target size. A maximum resolution of 720p or 1080p may help, but smaller files can look softer. If the target is too small, use a larger permitted target or trim the clip in an editor before converting.

What is the Discord video upload limit?
Check the limit currently shown in Discord for your account and destination. This page does not assume a fixed limit for every account or plan. Set a target below your actual limit.
Can I compress a Discord video to 10 MB?
Yes, 10 MB is a selectable target. Use it only if it is below your current upload limit. Very small targets may not produce a valid output, especially for long videos.
Does ConvertRight upload to Discord?
No. It creates a local H.264 MP4 beside the original. You choose when and where to upload it.
Can I compress gameplay or HDR recordings?
Supported SDR gameplay recordings can be compressed on Windows or Mac. Fast motion can lose detail at small targets. Windows needs an SDR copy of HDR footage first; Mac compression converts HDR to SDR.

Does local compression work offline?
